Welcome to our monthly new material stand-up comedy night where you get to see award-winning comedians for a fiver. Hosted by Gary Tro.

Jessica Fostekew exists in real life but is also a comedian, actor and writer. Since 2008 she’s been throwing this job around like you would a walnut in a sock. The Guardian say she “wears her smarts on her sleeve, great stuff” and Fest called her “consistently hilarious.”

Jess was nominated for The Dave Edinburgh Comedy Award ‘Best Show’ for her show Hench, in 2019 which has since had a sold out, international tour. She has since appeared on Live at the Apollo, QI and Harry Hill’s Clubnite.

As an actor she starred in feature films Greed and Official Secrets, Dawn French’s The Trouble with Maggie Cole on ITV, Sharon Horgan’s Motherland on BBC 2 and is an episode guest lead in Series 5 of Cuckoo on BBC and Netflix. Jess has also written for BBC’s Mock The Week and C4’s 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown, as well as BBC R4’s News Quiz.

Sunil Patel is a stand-up comedian and actor, who starred in mockumentary series Borderline for Channel 5 in 2016 and 2017, and Viceland’s Bobby And Harriet Get Married in 2017 and as the sidekick on Beat the Internet with John Robins in 2018. He also co-hosts BBC Sounds podcast series But Where Are You Really From? and BBC Asian Network’s Eshaan, Sunil And Nim show every Saturday 1-4pm.

“A clearly gifted comedian with a comfy and approachable style, he is as self-aware and structurally subversive as any of the Fringe’s great alternative comedians, without fitting directly into that bracket. It’s material that could work anywhere and appeal to most, whilst being subtle and clever” – Edfestmag

“Sunil Patel oozes funny like a jammy doughnut running down a diner’s chin. Sometimes looking at his expressionless facade, I wonder whether he even realises how funny he is” – Broadway Baby

Tatty Macleod is a French/English bilingual stand-up comedian and improviser. Her sketches on Instagram and TikTok  have amassed over 10 million views.

She was the winner of “le Best de l’humour London 2018”, she was also a 2 Northdown new comedian of the year semi-finalist and a Funny Women award nominee.

Tatty’s bi-lingual, critically acclaimed show: “La Franglaise” was performed at the Apollo and Alhambra Theatres in Paris and the Comedy Store & Brasserie Zedel in London.

“Eminently watchable, silly, and bitingly funny, Macleod was sparkling” – London Pub Theatre Magazine
